TIPOFF enrolled the order and took nothing off

01 — Early Black Friday, and a store full of cash-off offers.

Jordan Craig is a streetwear label founded in 1989 on Jamaica Avenue in New York City. Early November is Early Black Friday, with cash-off offers across the store.

The brand wanted the buzz of a Knicks game night without adding another markdown.

02 — Nine moments from one Bulls at Knicks game.

Nine squares, nine things that could happen on Nov 4: Josh Giddey 15+ assists, a tie after tip-off, overtime, Jalen Brunson 40+ and five more. If any line of three completed, across, down or diagonal, shoppers got 100% of the product price back, before taxes and shipping.

03 — A shoppable board, code TIPOFF, two days.

Every square was a Jordan Craig look to shop. Shoppers ordered Nov 1 and 2 with code TIPOFF, which took nothing off and enrolled the order. Playably built the board page, an 11-frame carousel, stories and the official rules. On game night the board checked off squares live from the box score.

04 — Six squares, no line. No cashback owed.

Knicks 135, Bulls 105. Six of nine squares filled, but every line needed Giddey 15+ assists, overtime or Brunson 40+, and none happened. Jordan Craig kept its full-price revenue. The board page added to cart 77% more often than the store, and converted 17% better than its 50%-off fleece page the same weekend.

Why it worked

Three reasons this beats a markdown.

A

Sale-page results at full price.

The board page converted 17% better than a 50%-off page the same weekend, with nothing taken off at checkout.

B

Every square sold a look.

Nine squares, nine Jordan Craig looks. Board-page visitors added to cart 77% more often than the store.

C

Game night, no markdown.

The offer rode the Knicks buzz. The trigger missed, so Jordan Craig kept all of its full-price revenue.
